Annual Review Narrative

The past academic year was full of new roles, responsibilities, events and activities. The fall semester served as a my space for training and preparation that I was able to learn more, through direct interactions, about teaching and learning in the early childhood teacher education context in which I am situated. During this semester, I had the opportunity to co-teach the following undergraduate courses:

- EEC 4212 Integrated Social Science, Humanities, and Arts: co-taught with Dr. Ilene Berson

- EEC 4943 Early Childhood Field Training III: co-taught and co-planned with other graduate assistants.

My responsibilities in these courses included co-planning and co-teaching, conducting learning activities, grading some assignments, and some other tasks. On the other hand, in the spring semester, I supervised early childhood pre-service teachers (level 4). My responsibilities included supervising, coaching, and evaluating preservice teachers, collaborating with the cooperating teachers, and conducting bi-weekly meetings.
